Spreading Generosity
Bada Bing! Pizzeria went viral back in 2015 for the heartwarming Thanksgiving sign they put in their window. The sign announced that the business would be closed on Thanksgiving Day to give their employees some well-deserved time off. The local Ohio pizza shop also extended its generosity to the community, and it brought a smile to everyone’s face.
The sign, posted to the business’s Facebook page, read, “We will be having dinner here… with our family, employees, and friends. If you are hungry or don’t have any money, please come in.” The Bada Bing! Pizzeria owner didn’t intend for his sign to go viral, but it did! The local news even tweeted about it. The local business ended up serving dozens of free Thanksgiving meals to people in their community. What a wholesome story to put you in the holiday spirit.
