Since its inception in 1979, Seagate Technology has been at the forefront of data storage solutions, closely aligning its birth with the inception of the Internet. Boasting a yearly revenue of $10.51 billion, it’s clear they’ve leveraged their early start to dominate the industry.

Initially called Shugart Technology, Seagate rebranded and moved its incorporation to Dublin in 2010 for tax benefits, while maintaining its operational base in Fremont, California. A strategic enhancement came in 2011 with the acquisition of Samsung’s HDD business, marking a pivotal expansion.
