While some people believe is a form of harassment towards women, others claim is nothing but a harmless way of complimenting them. Despite the different opinions, it is important we take into consideration how women themselves feel about catcalling.

Many women say they fear what might happen if they speak up against catcallers. They say catcalling is not about making women feel good; it’s about asserting power and control over them.
